An implant is a small titanium root that fuses with the bone and holds a crown. It replaces one or more missing teeth permanently, without touching the teeth next to it.
How we work
- 3D CT scan at the clinic on day one: we measure the bone and confirm the plan before starting.
- In-house dental lab: crowns and prostheses are made here, with no waiting on outside labs.
- Several implant systems (including Osstem, Straumann and Nobel Biocare): your quote names the one chosen for you.
- Zirconia or E-Max crowns for your final teeth, at the second visit once the bone has healed.
- Not enough bone? Bone grafting and sinus lift, and in complex cases zygomatic or pterygoid implants.
- Implant certificate and a 10-year written guarantee.

- 3Your first visit
Usually 3–4 days in Tirana. Day one: consultation, 3D CT scan and final plan. Then the implants are placed.
- 4Your final teeth
After 4–6 months, once the bone has healed, you come back for 6–7 days for your final teeth. Then check-ups and guarantee.

I have been impressed with the dental clinic from the point when I made the initial decision to go ahead with the implants to this point, when I have my temporary teeth installed, ready to leave Tirana and travel home. How many days do I need to stay in Tirana?
For implants, the first visit usually takes 3–4 days. After 4–6 months of healing you come back for 6–7 days for your final teeth. For crowns and veneers on natural teeth the timing is different: you will find it written in your plan.

I don’t have an X-ray. What can I do?
Send us a few photos of your teeth: they are enough for a first plan. On day one at the clinic we do a consultation and a 3D CT scan and confirm the plan before starting.

What guarantee do I get?
All treatments come with a 10-year written guarantee. Materials are certified to European standards and come with an implant certificate.
What if I don’t have enough bone?
It can often be rebuilt with a bone graft or a sinus lift. For more complex cases there are zygomatic or pterygoid implants. We assess this from your X-ray and the 3D CT scan.
I’m nervous about the dentist. Does it hurt?
Treatment is done under local anaesthetic. If you are very anxious you can ask for conscious sedation: it is listed in your plan if you choose it.
Do I need a visa to come to Albania?
No. UK, EU and US citizens don’t need a visa for a short stay. UK visitors travel with their passport; EU citizens can also use their national ID card.
How do I get from the airport to the clinic?
